MOD POST: UPDATE

This post will be one of the regular sorts of posts - they will be describing the setting itself as it changes. Namely, strange things that the player characters will see, or feelings they will experience - all of the tools necessary to key you in to what the atmosphere is currently like in Japan. These will (presumably) help you in making posts/logs/etc, even if they aren't as involved as actual Events.

After the meeting with OUTLIER, characters will slowly start to notice some major changes in their lives. They may encounter any number of the following oddities:

• A sharp ringing in the ears, especially for characters that are Fighters.  They have no strongly evident source, but the "field" can grow more or less intense as the character moves closer or further from the Fighter that is the source of the field.  However, the unknown Fighter can just as easily leave - and moving away once they realize they've been noticed seems to be their current priority.

• People watching you.  It's always in a crowded place, but they may suddenly notice more people staring at them through a crowd or across the street.  They don't always create the ringing effect, and they wildly range in age, gender, and general appearance.  Even small children may be watching from a distance, or a middle aged couple - though usually, it's only one person and only very rarely two.

• Friends or family of yours will often say something strange, as if they've spoken with someone.  They may ask all sorts of things that seem wildly out of character for you ("Someone told me you grabbed a child off the street before they were run over!", or "I heard you picked a fight with a cop, what's up with that?") and will often go on to explain that someone approached them with that story and asked more about you... but nothing more seems to have happened, yet.  They can often describe physical traits of the people they spoke to, but it's usually focused on age, hair color, and whether or not they have ears since those are the most identifiable features (and unfortunately, it's Japan, so many many people have very dark hair).

Also of note: OUTLIER leaves the private Wisdom Resurrection server open, but only logs in himself between midnight and 1am.  However, he can always be contacted and will communicate with characters in the server at this time.
